✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

As usual, this has been a very busy week for the team! We have had multiple arrests, stop and searches and vehicle seizures, and have dealt with individuals for Drugs offences! This is on top of our standard day-to-day business of patrolling our areas and supporting our Response colleagues with managing Calls For Service.

As a result of your own feedback and information, we have been patrolling all of the key areas - something you said you wanted to see more of! We have carried out increased patrols around Buffery Park, Stevens Park, Netherton Park and Woodside Park - aiming to do this at the times when these open spaces see the most use. If you see us around, feel free to come over and say Hello!

We have also conducted detailed weapons sweeps of the open areas and park areas - and we're happy to say that nothing of any concern was found. If you see any suspicious activity that is causing concern, please let us know about it and we can carry out the relevant enquiries!

This week has also seen us visit educational facilities and supported living locations proactively engaging with youths at risk of exploitation and involvement with criminal matters. We always enjoy speaking with members of the public and engaging with our communities!
